Achensee, Tirol
We took some days off in the beautiful village of Pertisau at the Achensee in Tirol, Austria. Pertisau is very small and just a few hundred people live there. It is set between very high mountains and is most of the day in the shade of the Zwölferkopf. The town ends where the lake starts. Called the "Alp's Fjord", the Achensee is a amazing contrast to the tall and rugged mountain range. After spending three days in Pertisau, we travelled home. We stopped in Tegernsee, when the sun was about to set.
